HOW CAN I MAKE A ORDER?

You can make a order by calling us on 02 4997 9191 or by sending us a email on neil@aquablueseafoods.com.au stating what you wish to order and your contact details which includes- full name, address and contact number.
Or you can fill out the form from the Contact Page to make a order.

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?

We offer EFT/Online banking.

HOW MANY FISH CAN I PUT IN MY DAM?

We recommend stocking 40-50 fish within a dam around 24m by 10m as a rough guide. However if you would like more help working out how many fish you can put in your dam feel free to contact us on our Contact Page.

DO I NEED TO FEED MY FISH?

If you are placing your fish into a established dam with the correct amount of fish you do not have to feed them. However your fish will defiantly benefit from having live food such as Glass Shrimp and Yabbies which can breed up helping to create a sustainable ecosystem within your home dam. You can order Glass Shrimp and Yabbies from right here at Aquablue.

If you have a aquaponics system you will have to feed your fish food pellets which you can order from us here at Aquablue.

HOW & WHEN DO I PUT MY FISH IN MY DAM?

You should place your fish, shrimp, yabbies etc into you dam as soon as you have received them and follow the instructions below.

Fish/Shrimp should be gently floated in their unopened bag with your dam for 5mins so they can slowly adjust to the dams temperature within the bag. After the 5min gently open the bag and gently place 1-2 litres of the dams water into the bag and reseal the bag. Then allow bag to float for a further 2min, after the 2mins are up reopen the bag and gently tip the contents into the dam. For best results tip fish into a well weeded area within the dam.
Yabbies gently remove the foam divider and then gently tipped onto its side on the waters edge of your dam allowing the yabbies to freely walk into your dam.
Mussels should be gentle placed about 2m into the dam.

DO YOU DELIVER & HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

We deliver to most areas or your order can be picked up from your nearest regional Fastway depo. To find out if we can freight to your area feel free to contact us by phone or email. Usually freight can take up to 1-2 days

WILL MY FISH BE OK TO TRAVEL?

Yes your fish will be fine to travel however we always place a few extra into your order for free to cover any losses occur if any.

CAN I STOCK MY LOCAL RIVER?

No you can not stock your local river or waterway without a stocking permit and approval from DPI fisheries.

WILL THE FISH BREED IN MY DAM?

In a still-water dam or pond it is very unlikely that the fish will breed as fish usually migrate upstream or to a estuary to breed within the moving waterway.

However Yabbies, Glass Shrimp and Fresh Water Mussels can breed up well within a still-water dam or pond.
